12 Days of Christmas Crafts - Day 10 - Washer Necklaces

I saw some washer necklaces on pinterest.  I thought they were so cute, I quickly did a search and look at numerous blogs where they had made these necklaces.  These are so simple and quick to make.  I made mine for the holidays, using more 'Christmas' type colors. But, you can easily change these up to whatever color scheme you want.

Washers (I used two different sizes)
fingernail polish
bakers twine

Start by painting your washers. Just paint the top, it's not necessary to paint both sides or the inside/outside edges.

Once the paint is dry, you can start assembling the necklaces.  I apologize, but somehow I lost the pictures of when I was making them.

Here you can see where I made some with a plain silver washer on top.
And here are some just plain with only the painted washer.

I used bakers twine, but these would look nice with a cord or leather rope as well.

I just think these look so festive and would add to holiday attire.  I made my necklaces long, but you could also do shorter lengths.
