Here's how I made mine...
Supplies:
Material
Paint
Buttons
Yarn
Wire
Clothespins
I started by painting the clothes pins with hair, a shirt and shoes.
Next, I hot glued hair on top of each clothespin.
I braided two of the dolls and put the other two with pigtails. I put a little bow made out of material on top of the ones where I braided their hair.
Next I cut 4 circles out of material. I cut a little slit in the middle of each circle and slide the clothespin in and hot glued the skirt on.
Then I cut a length of wire and formed a loop on one end for hanging. I threaded a few buttons on and then glued a doll, a few more buttons another doll and so forth.
To glue the dolls on, I used some wood hearts I had left over from another project. I just put a big dollop of glue on the heart, laid the wire over it and then stuck the doll on top.
Finally, I ripped some material into strips and tied it on the wire.
I plan to use this garland in MK's room and maybe at some birthday parties as well.
