Chocolate Easter Bunny Felt Ornaments

Last year for Christmas, I made a ton of felt ornaments.  I was inspired by them to make these little 'chocolate' bunny felt ones for Easter.

Here's what you need...
White pom-poms
Embroidery thread
pillow stuffing

First use paper to draw a simple chocolate bunny pattern.  Pin it to your material and cut-out. You will need two felt bunnies per ornament.

I cut out brown (chocolate), white (white chocolate) and then some pink and gray bunnies as well.

Using embroidery thread, blanket stitch around the edge.  I used 3 threads, so when I threaded the needle and knotted it, it was actually 6 threads.

I found it was easier to stuff the bunny as I sewed, in particular the ears.  Don't forget to sew a little loop of ribbon at the top for hanging when you get to that part of the bunny!

Once sewn up, glue a little pom-pom on for the cotton tail.  Tie a bow and glue at the bunny's neck.

Happy Easter!!
