Baby Doll Bath towel

You know those little hooded towels your kids use?  Well, we made them for baby dolls!  This was SOOO simple, even my 6 year old could do it (with a little help)!

Supplies:
Hand towel
Washcloth

We made 3 towels, so I had 3 hand towels and 2 washcloths.  I got the towels at Target when they were on sale, but you could also just use some old ones you have laying around.

Start by folding a washcloth in half, measure to find the center, pin down the center and then cut it in half.

Sew along where you just cut.  I chose not to pin along the edge, but if you are more comfortable having it pinned, by all means do so.

(We sewed after bath one night, so B's hair is all wet.)

Once it is sewed up, turn it right side out.  This is the 'hood' of the bath towel.

Next measure to find the center of the hand towel.  Pin the hood to the center and then sew it on!

And there you have .... a baby doll hooded bath towel!  Doesn't Lucy look so warm and cozy wrapped up in her hooded towel?

Happy Sewing!
