Valentine's 'LOVE' Shirt

An easy way to jazz up any old shirt or sweater is to sew on some buttons.  This is an idea to sew a word on using buttons!

Here is what you need:
shirt
buttons
embroidery floss
disappearing ink pen

I got this shirt last year at Esprit in New York.  When I decided to use it for this project, I noticed it even had a little cupid on it!

Start by writing the word you want on the shirt using the disappearing ink pen.  For this one, I chose 'Love'.

Next just begin sewing buttons on along the lines of the letters.  I used three strands of embroidery floss in my needle.  I also used only shades of pink buttons.

"L"

"O"

"V"

"E"

All done!  Now just to what for that ink to become invisible!!
