Valentine Hugs and Kisses Jars

Here's a simple craft and another way to recycle old jars.

Here's what you need:
old jars
some scrap material (red or pink)
card stock (red or pink)
paper punch (optional)
chalkboard paint
pink chalk
Hershey's Hugs and Kisses

Start by using chalkboard paint to paint a heart (or any shape you like) on the front of the jar.

Next, trace circles larger than the lid onto material and cut out.  I used pinking sheers to cut mine out.

Punch out a circle or shape out of card stock for the lid of the jar.  I was going to use this flower punch, but in the end I went with a circle punch.  If you don't have a punch, then just cut a circle or shape from card stock.

Once chalkboard paint is dry, fill jars with Hershey's Hugs and Kisses candy!

With pink chalk write 'XOXO' on the front of each jar.  Cover the top of the jar with the fabric circle and screw jar lid on.  Next glue the circle (or shape) you punched out to the top and add a little saying.  For mine, I put 'Hugs and Kisses from the Little Misses'.  I also added a tag tied on with twine around the jar.  I cut the tag using my Cricut.

And here's the finished gift!
