Snowman Ball Ornaments

While I was making the snowball wreath, I thought of this idea to make snowmen out of the balls as well.  I got some of that cool yarn that changes colors throughout because I thought it would make the snowmen more interesting.

Here is what you need for this ornament:
Styrofoam balls (3 different sizes)
Glue gun
Small buttons
scrap material for scarf
twigs from yard

Start by gluing down the end of yarn to a Styrofoam ball and then just wrap until you can't see anymore of the Styrofoam.  B and I did these together, it made it go a little faster.

Once done, glue the three balls together, like a snowman!

Glue the buttons on for the eyes, nose and mouth.  Tie a little scarf cut out of material around his neck.  I used flannel and fleece for my scarfs.

Finally, glue a loop of ribbon on his head and stick the twigs in the sides for arms.  I put a little hot glue on the end of the sticks before sticking them in.

I thought the scarfs looked a look wild, so I decided to glue them down in the front.

I am really pleased with how these turned out!  Merry Christmas!
